Idk what to say about this movie that hasn't already been said. Yes Daniel Day-Lewis performance is absolutely terrific, and not just because of that “I’ve abandoned my child” scene. The score is so intriguing and I also really like the title and the poster for this movie. Overall, this film is a fabulous portrayal of man consumed by the greed for power and wealth. I was kind of hoping for a little more, but maybe my expectations were just too high. ***8.5/10***

This is definitely not your typical gangster movie. I like how it’s just a few yakuza members hanging out on a secluded beach, play crazy games and then in the next moment we see the brutality and ruthlessness of these men and those violent scenes come across, as something ordinary. However, I didn’t really like how sometimes there were just deadpan reactions when someone was shot, I don't know if that was supposed to be funny, but it didn't really fit the tone of the film, in my opinion. I also felt that there wasn't much of a plot in this film, which isn't necessarily always a bad thing, but in this case, I still felt like a little more could have happened. The score and cinematography were absolutely beautiful though. ***7.7/10***

So many cuts in this movie ts feels like a Mr. Beast video ***7.6/10***

A brilliant character study of a lonely, mentally ill man who has become an obsessive stalker and would do anything to achieve fame and be like his idol. While at the same time we see the darker side of great fame through his idol. Robert De Niro delivers one of his best performances ever here, among the films with him that I've seen. Although this isn’t even a comedy, which is kinda ironic, the movie is very funny at parts. Another thing I like is the that the ending is open to interpretation and could just be another one of Rupert’s imaginations. I just found the character Masha completely unnecessary and annoying. ***8.5/10***
