Spider-Man 2

9/10 Absolutely fucking mega, it does everything the first film does but even better, and ontop of that Alfred Molina as Octavius is yet another top Teir villain, JK Simmons gets even more time to shine as the absolutely hillarious comic relief J Jonah Jameson, and the final hour of this is just going blow for blow with iconic scene after iconic scene, I mean ffs the scene where Harry finds out Peter is Spiderman literally comes right after the train sequence. Also you can tell Sam Raimi is just having the time of his life here his visual style is even more present, there’s some scenes (like the one of the robot arms attacking the doctors) that are literally shot like one of his horror films it’s great. Ontop of all that it’s a thorough exploration into all the characters grief and really delves into what it means to be a hero and the sacrifices that unfortunately have to come with that, and also what the “Spiderman” truly means for the people of New York. Such an inspiring film  Geniunely felt like a kid again watching this I understand that feeling now, i love the first one aswell but this is so much better it’s not even funny. Absolute Cinema.
