Babylon
"they are pointing the camera in the wrong direction." while this quote in the context of the film speaks to the jazz artists, it can be taken out of context to speak about the movie as a whole. In Babylon the camera isn't on just the set, it is on its production and the crazy ass shit that goes on behind the scenes, reminding you that every film has its backstory. Intertwining these ludicrous characters in ludicrous situations, seamlessly connecting multiple storylines that show the inter workings of cinema through a variety of different viewpoints. I think there is a lot more here to chew on, which is why my rating is only a 4, and because I think some of the stuff might not hold my own personal test of time. Idk what else to say, its fantastic and it's overwhelming. Go watch it.
