A truly beautiful film that celebrates the potential for good in everyone, especially in the face of adversity. One action can have a profound impact on the lives of many people. I genuinely believe this is my favourite Kurosawa film because of how it explores the depth of the human spirit. (Yes I teared up)
How tragic that man can never realise how beautiful life is until he is face to face with death.
