Your Name.

The first time I ever watched this movie was due to an irl friend recommending it to me, due to them being a massive weeb compared to me, someone who hadnt seen any anime at the time besides Howls Moving Castle, another recommendation. Since then, this film has continued to be the best film recommendation I've been given yet. Everything about this film was absolute magic to me on the first watch, from the writing, to the music, to the visuals. A year later, I came back to this film after more exposure to anime, this time in the original Japanese version. Despite picking up on some pacing issues at the beginning, I found myself blown away once more.
