Tangerine
i could watch this every day. fundamental to my core. one of my favourite opening sequences and my favourite closing scene. so unbelievably gorgeous and heartbreaking, showing the viewer both complete isolation through the use of christmas as a time frame and hollywood as place with many people that act like your friend for benefit and sisterhood with sin-dee's and alexandra's relationship. So trashy, yet so artsy, many flaws within its editing and acting sometimes but still so many good subtle and major moments. Geniune once-in-a-lifetime movie that cannot be replicated in any other time, or location. Looks so much like a dream you can get lost in the cinematography. Sean Baker you will always be famous
