Before Sunrise
i can't get over the record shop scene. i want to experience something like that one day. maybe instead of kath bloom, i'd play the strokes - whom i really, really like. maybe room on fire or 80s come down machine, either one to set the mood like 'Come Here' did. when jesse and celine got into the listening booth, the secret stolen glances and the bitten back smiles.. oh gosh, i could write an entire poem about it. not to mention the ending. it lingers with you. all the places where they walked, talked, waltz, kissed is now empty of their presence, waiting for them to come back. the half empty bottle of wine with a pair of glasses on the park, the table where they sat and talked, the thin little hallway where they talked about love, the fountain, the man playing piano by the window; they all await their comeback. but will they?
