Gummo

for so much of this movie i didn't understand it. i thought that the director just wanted to be a bit silly and shoot a movie purely based on vibe and vibe alone. Multiple times did i pause it and try to do something else, an attempt at abandoning it. But it couldn't leave my head. As i read about the production process and Harmony Korine's vision i came to the end of the film. And as i did i could see it as he did. As if it was a work of art i had painted myself.  it was beautiful
