WALL·E

My favorite PIXAR movie. Watched it while building the LEGO set but I kept getting distracted watching a movie I really like, go figure. It was my favorite when I was younger, so now I look back at what people thought of the movie and I’d like to chime in on what I picked up as the two major criticisms people had with this movie: People said the movie would’ve been better if it was a silent/no-dialogue movie with robots falling in love. And yes, after watching movies like “Flow”, I would’ve totally been on board with that. But the humans don’t really bother me that much, cause when you really watch it, they’re really not on screen that much. Even the captain I feel like has a very minuscule role in this. People also said the movie was too “preachy” with the message of saving the environment and pollution being too hammered in. But you know what- maybe that’s what you needed to hear. They just needed this cute little robot to try and tell you that, and even THAT didn’t seem to work. Pricks. Go recycle. Overall, this movie is very cute and also has funny bits. I found myself laughing like I was 7 years old again.
