Irreversible

A viscerally vulgar whirlwind that will fucking ruin you. I didn’t even know a movie could evoke so much stress and such absolute detest. There is no enjoyment to be had here. Just an unrelenting reminder of how disgusting some people out in the world are, and how scary it is to know we live among them. It also has important implications on societal constructs, our emotions, as well as how the surrounding context to an experience can all intersect and impact one another thanks to its masterfully directed non chronological stucture.
