My Liberation Notes
Everything about this series was perfect. The family dynamic, an introvert's life, the simplicity of each scene, the purposeful setting ...just on the dot. My standards for love genuinely skyrocketed with this series, and I've watched alot of romance genre kdramas. It wasn't dramatic, grand or cringe; it was somber, soft yet deep. I loved every interaction between the two main leads.
This kdrama was just so relatable, because will working 9-5 really be the rest of our lives? It's something familiar and what I can resonate with in a fast-paced environment. With something or someone to escape to is a blessing and this series showed exactly that. I loved seeing each character's development. They were individually so complex and significantly diverse. It was mostly such a realistic series (apart from a man worshipping a woman #need), so that was why I enjoyed it immensely.
