the score felt like a dump of mediocre hits. it has that typical inspirational-believer sporty movie storyline. but thank god that minor crap was overshadowed by the film’s stunning cinematography. i loved how well they maintained the tension throughout the movie.
i’m a bit unsure whether jp and sonny were supposed to form a strong bond or not, because it felt way too shallow considering how much happened between them during the climax. their final arc could’ve gone way deeper. in contrast, sonny and ruben’s bond felt far more intimate and convincing.
btw, i relate a lot to sonny. can’t really explain it much since the movie’s still running in theatres 😀
