i just dont get it they love each other they are soulmates the amount of yearning is unmatched why all the miscommunication and fear its like they are willing to date any passing person but each other it was honestly frustrating but i really enjoyed it and i didnt really get it at the same time maybe thats how relationships really are i didnt really understand why marianne kept self sabotaging herself in these relationships she entered. i mean if your family basically hates you and treats you like nothing why are seeking that violence in other relationships as well?? but in the end most of us are drawn to the things that caused us the most harm so i guess that's represented well in her although with connel i didnt really understand his problem? he didnt really suffer from a fucked up houshold like marianne and his mom is loving and kind so why did he have so many panic attacks and why was he so afraid of telling her to stay or how he felt. i mean from the first two eposides it showed that he has a kinda go with the crowd personality as he never defended marianne when she was bullied or wanted to be seen with her but i dont think that was the main issue with him honestly somthing i liked is that feeling werent expressly told to the viewers but was shown instead by the directing and cinematography, it was unspoken which often kepts the viewers on their toes, guessing what the scenes meant. so many things happened and so many things went wrong but that's just how life is i suppose and thats how normal people deal with it it was an amazing experience watching this i wish they ended together, well maybe they did
