Robin Hood
This movie is soooo good, I enjoyed it so much. Very much a breath of fresh air after Hoodwinked. The art is not only nostalgic, but genuinely beautiful, the backgrounds painted masterfully, and the character design and direction si absolutely adorable. Everyone knows how smokin' hot Robin Hood is, but no one ever talks about how cute Hiss is, with his little propeller tail and him sleeping in a baby rocking bed. The soundtrack is wonderfully simple and peaceful, and I almost fell asleep listening to it (though I was quite exhausted while watching this movie, which might've assisted in that). The pacing is appropriate for the length of the fables told of Robin Hood, and the action is super fun! The big fight scene after the archery tournament is one of the best scenes in the movie. The only thing I have to critique this movie on is how a handful of things didn't age quite as gracefully as the rest of this movie, namely, the way Robin and Little John dress up as and portray Romani people, and the glorification of King Richard and the crusades. Other than those two instances, this movie is a delight to watch, one of the best from this era of disney, and one I would and will happily revisit.
