Weapons

I thought this movie was absolutely phenomenal. from the cinematography, to the interconnected storytelling that let you connect the dots in real time, to the "oh shit" moments that are all over this movie. however, I feel that it is a bit rushed at points, and could've used a few more months in the oven before release. I felt like the third act especially didnt hold up as strongly as the first two, but was still quite exciting and gave me plenty of "fuck yea" moments. this movie was funny, tense, and a fantastic mystery thriller, but not nearly as scary as I was under the impression it would be by the trailers. there are so many good ideas here, and I feel like pushing the release a few months earlier did harm it a bit. nevertheless, I would watch this movie again with a lot of enjoyment.
