Coach Carter
This is a good movie with great messages and it’s dope that it’s based on a true story as well. It’s entertaining, emotional, funny, and climatic.
Unfortunately, I’d say that some of the plot lines feel like pretty generic sports drama movie tropes, and some of the important characters really aren’t that well fleshed out at all, and you know like 1 or 2 things about them, which can make some of them & their situations & struggles feel surface level and tropey (if that’s a word? idk lmfao) even though the issues they’re facing fs aren’t— they just aren’t explored enough imo.
