Priscilla

I didn’t expect to love this movie as much as I did. This made me finally understand why everyone wants to cast Jacob Elordi and made me fall in love with Cailee Spaeny. Sofia Coppola is so masterful in portraying girlhood and girls who are forced to grow up too fast. The scenes of Priscilla in her full bouffant and glam makeup, coming off nights of partying in her Catholic school uniform heading to class. The scene that struck me the most for some reason was her playing with her new puppy at Graceland, so sweet and child like, cast aside as an accessory or even the doll that she looks like to be picked up when it suits Elvis. I hope Sofia and Cailee work together again.
