Eraserhead

Baby project gone wrong…. It’s been months and I still don’t know truly what to make of this film. I find it odd that David lynch is so popular in Europe despite his style being so marked by americana nuclear family criticism etc. Anyways i like this a lot you can see the classic David lynch elements developing here but in an odder way than he has in his other stuff which worked for the whole crazy body horror thing. Going to watch this every few years and I think I’ll interpret it differently every time bc there is so much to latch onto emotionally depending on your perspective
