Arrival
“If you could see your whole life from start to finish, would you change things?”
Villeneuve heads a brilliant conversation on the deconstruction of the most basic aspects of our world: language, time, and emotion.
“I’m not so sure I believe in beginnings and endings”
Arrival is both cerebral and visceral, yet it knows exactly how to balance the two. In the end, it dissects humanity more than it does the race of aliens. I have seen this movie multiple times now, and it get better every time. It just sits so well with me. I love this movie.
“Despite knowing the journey and where it leads, I embrace it and I welcome every moment of it.”
