To this day it confuses me how Fincher managed to make this nondescript world as dreary and apathetic as it is lush and lyrical. Everything about Se7en is so visceral I just can’t look away no matter how much I may want to. *“ ‘The world is a fine place and worth fighting for.’ I agree with the second part.”*
