“I have to believe in a world outside my own mind.” ** Memento is undoubtedly one of Nolan's best films.** I feel it's not given the recognition it deserves, because the film is truly very good. The fact that there's always the question of "Does he have amnesia, or not, maybe he doesn't?" is something that brings a very positive aspect to the film. The film is very well produced and completely contradicts the criticisms leveled at Nolan, about his films usually being boring or having pointless dialogue; this was not the case here. “We all lie to ourselves to be happy.”
