Sinners

Absolutely terrific film. I love how it takes its time with the characters before jumping into the horror aspects. The scene of Samuel piercing the veil was absolutely incredible. I do wish the film would trust the audience a little more to pay attention as it felt like there were times it flashed back to previous scenes where it really wasn’t necessary. A lot of depth to this film, I went to go see with a friend and we spent the entire car ride back discussing the themes and symbolism of it.
