Oh my göd this is beautiful. This film is the best animated film I’ve seen in a very very long time. Every single frame is so stunning, I wanna hang it up on my wall. The whole movie feels so alive, in a way that I haven’t seen being done before. It feels like there is an actual camera within the animation taking the viewer along this incredible journey. The used light makes so much sense and it works phenomenally with this style of animation. The sound however is also such an important part of this whole experience and it creates, together with the score, a dynamic that feels so dramatic and unique. You get attached to the characters so quickly by simply just watching them do things they do and there isn’t any dialogue involved. So even without any language being used, it doesn’t feel like it’s missing anything and it makes the film much more authentic. A 10/10 film that I will be recommending to everyone around me.
