Sentimental Value

I really really can’t put into words what this film did to me. These visuals were definitely some of the best visuals from a 2025 film and and the way the camera was placed to absorb the true nature of some of these moments was absolutely amazing. I don’t think I even need to talk about the performances in this film because those were phenomenal on their own. I was blown away by how much seemingly real emotion there was in such simple scenes and dialogues. This film really is proof that a film doesn’t need a blockbuster plot or a completely action packed story to make you be absolutely invested into watching it. It also was one of those films were tears would just run from my eyes during such simple scenes and moments because I could feel the tension and emotion that was buried under the dialogues. Overall, this is an unbelievable incredible film that is definitely in my top 5 releases of 2025. I just really regret not having watched it in theaters.
