Dune

may thy knife chip and shatter. denis villeneuve is officially my favorite director of all time. he had made too many films that i love to pass over. dune, part one and two. sicario. and so many fucking more beautiful films to underestimate his talent. i know i say it a lot. but music makes films. and this man brought together one of the greatest scores to a film i’ve ever heard. the music alone creates so much tension, it speaks words through sound.  he also has some of the best cinematography ever. there are so many shots that are beautiful. the entire attack on arrakis is filmed beautifully. denis is simply a director of the future. his cast is built up like a fucking wall. chalamet, zendaya, oscar issac, rebecca ferguson, josh brolin, so many fucking more. even jason mamoa is fantastic in this shit. no wonder why the cast gets better. i also can’t forget javier bardem. all wrap it up, villeneuve’s dune will go down as one of the greatest film series to ever exist. mark my words. the way he creates these films is incredible.
