Igor yesterday was my birthday too... I think this is one of the most memorising beautiful films I have layed my eyes upon. second time around I want to watch it a third time. I genuinely think this is everything that it should be. the comedy hits, the romance hits and oh does the trauma hit. Anoras arc destroys all hopes and wishes for a truly positive connection to be had in this movie. The idea of trauma being discussed in the way it is, around every corner, under every joke creates a haunting image of context that has not priorly been there. I feel impacted truly by this film. I don't know why, but maybe this film speaks to a certain sadness that I can empathies with. I think it is deserving of all the praise and if anything award after award. What a beautiful movie
