Waves
Just watched Waves, and I know I say this with every movie, but I mean it truly this time I think it’s my new favorite movie of all time. It has the most stunning visuals I have ever seen in a movie, and the best soundtrack I have ever heard (probably because it’s all of my favorite songs all in one movie). I couldn’t believe it when I heard True Love Waits I nearly cried. It’s such a powerful movie with its topics and handling of grief and forgiveness.
“He’s just a human being” is such a powerful line; it reminds us that none of us are perfect. We’re all just trying our best. We all make mistakes. We all love and lose. Just seeing clips of how beautiful the colors and shots are in this movie was enough for me to watch it, and I highly recommend you do as well.
