Nice little film, the different characters representing different struggles and by the end of the film gets resolved through family and self acceptance.

Second film I’ve seen from Yorgos and what strange films he makes. This is dope though and a lot of symbolic allegories and themes in this film. Jesse Plemons one of the best today and Emma had a strong performance.

Really solid film, ultimately a story about survival and pretty well done at that. Had some cool shots that you’d expect from an indie movie. Mo'Nique definitely deserves her Oscar here and I’d put it as one of the all timer supporting actress performances. Also cool note the main actress had no prior professional training before this and was her first role and random Mariah Carey appearance in this film. * * *— 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.*

I hope in my lifetime I see a Palestine free of genocide, violence and oppression. *Free Free Palestine 🇵🇸 *
