Your Name.
Pretty hard to add anything new about this film, clearly Makoto Shinkai's magnum opus.
A first part that shows a really cute and extremely funny, wholesome and original story. But halfway through the film puts you in a chokehold and doesn't let go until the credits stop rolling.
During the whole last half hour all you can really do is cry and get anxious watching these beautiful moments.
The whole film obviously has gorgeous animation and a really underrated soundtrack that manages to grab your attention even more.
PS. Really glad that they are doing reruns of anime movies in my local cinemas, because during the hand scene I heard a girl behind me gasping while she was crying uncontrollably.
Clearly peak fiction
