Superman

Rewatched this fully expecting to drop my rating since i’ve seen so much hate for it lately. Thought maybe i was just overhyped the first time… but nope. If anything, i love it even more now. Two scenes had me tearing up (pure joy tears) especially that ending. and i love how Superman is portrayed not just as a hero but as a symbol of hope. That feeling of pure optimism is something so rare in superhero movies today and it makes this film stand out even more Also James Gunn and his music choices? Punkrocker has been on repeat since. Man knows exactly how to pick songs that hit. ABSOLUTE CINEMA 🙌🏻
