Sinners

Hot. I love Ryan Coogler as a director. The amount of passion and dedication he puts into his work is truly inspiring and it is shown here in what is potentially the biggest film of the year so far. There's so much to unpack with the themes present within this as it covers so much in detail, from Identity, the power of music, segregation in the 1930's, family, and so much more. Sinners is so nuanced and full of detail that I will love to see in a youtube analysis video later down the line. Ryan Coogler is an expert at world building and character building as every character is meaningful and has so much personality to them. The music is so fucking good. So fucking good. The cinematography is really good, the action is really good. There's this one scene that is just fucking awesome and you'll know it when you see it. Michael B Jordan does an excellent job balancing the two characters, as well as the rest of the cast doing amazing. Truly a film to be remembered. Will want to see this again, and not just for Hailee. Shameik Moore is probably crashing out.
