Hoppers
it IS like avatar, but definitely a lot more fun imo
idk, i’ve been really debating on whether this is a four and a half or five star movie for a few hours now, cause this movie really got me, like the first time i’ve been moved by a disney OR pixar film in a while. i really connected to it in the sense of wanting to be apart of something bigger and especially not doing it alone and gave me a lot of good advice that i needed at the moment, i need to get my A game back on movies if i wanna beat 300 movies this year. anyways yes, i had a lot of fun with this movie, i love sharks and there’s a shark in this movie that omg, i can already see the people writing terrible scripts for the next ridiculous shark movie. i love the characters, there’s some great jokes and comedic timing in here, obviously very heartfelt, made me tear up as any good pixar film should. there was a tiny bit of obvious inspiration from the wild robot, but it’s still original and even self aware enough to where i loved it as its own thing. so yeah great family movie and will possibly go down as one of my favorite pixar films and definitely my favorite of the 2020s so far
if only politicians these days could be more like jerry
