Sonatine

Kitano's best in my opinion. They way the movie transitions between a classic bloody Yakuza film then onto a classic hangout movie with some of the best, most heartwarming and comedic scenes ever constructed is beautiful. It perfectly encapsulates my tastes as a viewer, it was awesome to stumble upon this flick.
