About Time
a great film, but it’s made by the brilliant story and message at its core - and assisted by a fantastic performance from bill nighy and faultless others all round. it has you gasping and smiling and laughing and crying the whole way through as it takes you on it’s winding journey through tim's life. we see him grow, and understand what it looks like to live his life, at all its various stages and along with it’s obstacles. you can’t help but grin for large parts of the film at the heartwarming moments and the touching dialogue (so quotable) but it’s very best moment comes at the end; where tim travels back one final time to see his dad. cue lots of tears.
a film i truly see myself thinking of and applying to my own life often and if not that, just feeling a bit giddy at rachel mcadams’s smile.
