Waves

rewatch absolutely amazing sound design is on another planet the use of lighting is truly phenomenal and the details oh my e.g. “this feels ironic” - siegfried , playing on an orbiting shot of emilly and him just like the opening shot of the film of tyler and alexa so powerful  the best depiction of grief  so emotional waves is a film that centers around a broken wounded family experiencing a horrific event, yet it leaves me immensely content. everything from the sound design, the score, the cinematography and the acting is absolutely perfect. acting - taylor russell and kelven harrison jr are faultless with sublime supporting performances from renee elise goldberry sterling brown and lucas hedges.
