Madagascar
A really great movie for children.
I think the movie has so much to offer for children to learn, from social life to culture and ethics.
The four main characters are super strong and solidly written, all having different struggles and views on life.
Everyone follows their own goals, with friendship being a big part of the story as well.
The criticism of zoos is packaged really well and subtly, yet strongly enough that children can pick up on it subconsciously.
The portrayal of the wilderness, fears, joy, and problem-solving is communicated in a very strong and subtle way.
In general, all the characters were super charismatic and funny.
The music and the overall look are great as well.
Overall, the movie is really good and works perfectly as a kids’ movie, but beyond that, not really much more.
