Rear Window
112 minutes of pure cinema.
Absolutely incredible Movie.
I think the movie starts pretty slow, but it catches up so well, it just gets better with every minute.
I thought the movie looked absolutely amazing and beautiful, especially for the year it was made.
I loved how Hitchcock worked with perspectives in this one.
Incredible how much you can tell just through the view out of a window.
Seeing the different lives going on throughout the windows and how different they all are was just amazing.
Camera work amazing.
The atmosphere is absolutely unmatched.
From the beautiful daytime scenes at the beginning to the absolutely genius night scenes, both had such a unique vibe.
In the first half, the movie felt so real and close, but also unreal and dreamy at the same time.
I loved the discussions between Jeff and Lisa about their future.
In general, all the dialogue and the acting were so good.
The story had such amazing tension, the atmosphere was incredible, the film looked beautiful, and the acting was superb.
All of that is what made the movie nearly perfect for me.
There is just something missing for me, but I can’t tell what it is.
So close to a 5
All in all its absolute Cinema
