About Time

Had to rewatch with mom.  I’m not kidding when I said I’ve enjoyed this day a lot more after being reminded to enjoy my journey through time. My last review on this was all about the story and message but I’ll also like to show some love to how gorgeous this film is. Everything from the wonderful house (found it on Airbnb and i definitely need to stay there sometime), Rachel McAdams’ wardrobe and the timeless color correction, full of personality and just stunning, it looks like a classic film. Some truly great sequences (opening, wedding, tube montage, trying out Dad’s plan and, of course, the last beach walk).  Mom was particularly fond of uncle Desmond and Kit Kat and Jay’s relationship. I think it’s testament of the craftsmanship into how every character feels so lovable and human and real. This feels like the most wonderful recollection of memories, I wish I will eventually be able to look back at my life and have it feel like this.
