Fuck man, I can’t hold back with these 5 stars this year.  The perfect night movie, up there with the likes of Drive, Blade Runner 2049, and Uncut Gems. There may be some more I’m missing, but those are some of my favorites.  I loved this, from the first from of Michael Mann’s dreamy nighttime L.A playground, to the last shot of a simple train on a regular L.A morning. Like Miami Vice, Mann moves the camera so elegantly and gracefully, that it just proves he’s an amazing filmmaker.  Loved Tom Cruise in this, I don’t know why he has grey hair though, but it looked very awesome. Jamie Foxx was great, and everyone else was good. The one who looked most like a criminal was Mark Ruffalo with his slicked back greasy goodfellas looking ass hair. All in all just an amazing time, and an amazing watch. Can’t wait to see more of Mann’s work.
