Watched the 3 Hour 4k fanedit by Spicediver I just find this version far more charming than the villeniueve version of the film. Which just ends up being big boring bland spectacle. I also just dont really enjoy Timothee (and Zendaya as a couple; Zendaya alone as Chani works) as Paul. I find Mclaughlin far more compelling and Lynch’s weird touch just enhances everything. This is my definitive version of Dune at least. I also started reading the books which helps this be far more digestible as well.
