Melancholia
You either love it or you don’t. It’s just so cool there’s aura to it. 1/3 of the movie is like paintings just beautiful shots and then 2/3 is handheld camera office editing where you feel in the conversation. The two actors are fantastic. I was looking if this got noms for anything and it didn’t?? Sound, cinematography, best supporting actress, best leading actress, nothing?? Lars a real goofball i feel not many people vibe with him. I have to watch dogville w naomi watts and dancer in the dark w bjork. The first 8 minutes are completely uncanny. I liked the 2nd part better then 1st part I think. Go into it knowing nothing please!!! and watch at night if possible.
