Scream

Probably my favorite scary movie. I’ve seen Scream so many times, but nothing compares to the theater experience. My audience was laughing at all of the funny bits- you could feel the energy in the room! And even when the audio cut out for like 5 minutes people were still having fun and chatting while it was being fixed. So cool to get to watch this with a bunch of other fans and at least a few kids who were getting to see it for the first time.  Seeing this on the big screen after really getting into horror made me notice so many of the movie references I’ve missed in the past. And a few quirks. Sydney is an Indigo Girls fan?? 🧐 This requires further investigation… Maybe my new favorite theater experience? I think this surpasses seeing Twilight: Breaking Dawn pt.2 when it first came out.  halloween watchlist 2021 #27
