Holy Moly this was probably my favorite movie out of 2025. The romance, the comedy was absolutely perfect, it gave me chills.
Larry was in my opinion, was the perfect husband. His priority was for Joan to be happy, even if that meant him not being in the picture anymore. He had great humor, a great personality, and a huge love an passion for his wife.
Luke was the "perfect guy", besides him being uncomfortable with Joan talking about her family (which is understandable) he really had no flaws. I loved his character, but i think the harsh reality with his character was having to grasp the fact that the Joan he knew had grown into a different women.
Joan was a relatable main character, i mean who hasn't had to decide between Miles Teller and Callum Turner... She understood the harsh reality of Eternity, and yes she realized a little too late that she wanted to spend more than 65 years with Larry, but she made things right in the end.
This film might be one of my favorites of 2025, it was raw and emotional. Wish we got to see more of the bromance between Larry and Luke though... just a suggestion!
