The Captain

Truly wish more people would bring this up when it comes to WWII movies. It goes beyond a mere masquerading story with a "will he get caught" draw, one about the seduction of power, a detached exploration of how it corrupts people, and how it spiraled into a horrific string of atrocities under unchecked authority. Apart from all the serious stuff though, I wouldn't have loved this as much if it wasn't for the sparse moments of humor, something really worth pointing out!
