The Shining

I am so glad that I went out to go see this in IMAX even with a snowstorm that had recently passed, and quite frankly, it really fit the mood. I hadn't seen this in a little under 10 years and I got to say it still holds up completely. It was still genuinely as beautiful and as unnerving as I remember watching it for the first time. Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall were absolutely incredible in this movie, and I still wonder to this day what Danny Lloyd could have been if he had continued acting cause he acted really well for a child actor of this time. At the end of the day, this is still a staple in not only horror cinema, but just cinema in general. Lastly, fuck Kubrick as a person and the horrible things that he did to Shelley Duvall.
