Brief Encounter

Movie #8, of OG Hollywood week: bonus day So I made a counting mistake, I thought this was day 7 of OG Hollywood week but it’s the eight apparently, yesterday day 7. But, I’m very happy I happen to make that mistake, otherwise I would’ve missed out on this absolute banger of a movie. In general this week has been extraordinary. I have no idea why I’d put of Hollywood movies form “the golden era” cause damn this week I’ve witnessed some of the finest work of art I’ve ever seen. Banger after banger just kept coming. I’m very happy I’ve seen some cult classics now as well as gotten into Hitchcocks and Wilders filmography a bit. Average rating from OG Hollywood week: 4,1/5Here’s all the movies I watched ranked  Anyway let’s get into the actual movie. I was actually left speechless cause holy shit this was good. The story reminded me a bit of in the mood for love, which also shows an impossible love story. I honestly don’t know what to say about this film because I’m just too blown away. I’ll just keep it short and say it’s a: beautiful, magical, amazing and moving must-watch.5/5
