Interstellar
It hit like a drug, rushing trough your veins for the first time
a drug you can’t measure
a chemical storm of feeling: despair brained with joy, tension softening into a strange, aching calm
an overload of nihilism and existential curiosity at once
the urge to believe to nothing and the impulse to find meaning in that nothing
the ship arose, the chair under me trembling, both launched into another dimension
my skin went from warm to cold, to warm again suddenly the screen wasn’t a screen, it was a doorway, a doorway leading to myself
I felt like everyone and nobody at the same time
like a bright star in a dark universe, but where my disappearance would be unnoticed a lonely soul at the edge of the universe for a brief moment, it was more then just a movie experience. The experience, it was me
Thankyou cinema.
