Aftersun

I recently saw someone call a movie a “slice of life” movie and I think I love that. This is the definition of a slice of life movie and I love it. After a third rewatch, there is so many more things that I pick up. Sophie is just trying to figure out how to become a teenager and Calum is just trying to find things so happy. They love each other so much, and Sophie can’t wait to spend more time with her dad while her dad knows it’s his last time with her. This movie is officially the second entry into my Criterion Collection.
