Oldboy

Re-watched this with the wrong crowd i guess. This is my 3rd Oldboy rewatch. This time around I watched it with some friends to get them to try to experience what i experienced and to understand the movie - and yeah… whatever, it doesn’t matter. Oldboy is never not gonna be top tier. Greatest plot twist within cinema; the way the story unfolds will always be insane to me and the general quality of filmmaking is outstanding. Out of almost every movie i’ve seen, Oldboy does shine light on some heavy themes, concepts, and has an array of disturbing and outwardly strange moments… so yeah, definitely not everyone’s cup of tea and i understand.
