The Beast

i finally watched something thats fucking amazing, it has been a MINUTE since the last movie i resonated with that much & i am glad i found this one.  well.... in my opinion there are some elements / criteria that i personally made that make me judge certain movies in a specific way & the beast kinda get the full mark on mostly every criterion.  anyway, i would rather tell yall to go and watch it as i wont be diving into the plot, themes or symbolism as ig it is a movie that a rewatch is needed to fully grasp these things.  i would say that tho, lea's acting is elite, cinematography is fucking beautiful the whole atmosphere in all eras is perfectly captured, i dont really have any major or minor negatives. i feel truly inspired by what i just watched.  it is kinda a mix of lynch & yorgos, like if they made a movie.  it is less lynchian tho, but has some elements for sure. especially lost highway.  95%
